in the last weekCertainly one of the worst beaches I've seen in 44 years of traveling. Dirty, full of seaweed, overcrowded, people trying to sell you something or offer you something, prices way above average, no facilities. Anyone who calls it a fantastic beach has never visited Koh Lipe in Thailand, the various Caribbean islands, Fernando de Noronha in Brazil, the Maldives, the Lakshadweep Islands in India, and I could go on. Infernal traffic with decrepit buildings. Luckily, I'm only staying a few days and I don't envy anyone who spends a couple of weeks there. The only positive note: the beautiful sunset!
