Hope Korean people can request government to remove the iron wall. One of reason is the iron wall that Hotel built narrowed down the alley to 3.2 meter. Media said the iron wall is against local standard, just historical reason that blabla. It’s so strange the iron wall is still there, and the memorial light box further narrow down the alley… For round 2?

Went during early Saturday morning to avoid crowds. There were messages on post-it notes plastered everywhere even in 2025 (most likely because the anniversary just passed)… As another comment noted, nothing much to do during the day since everything’s closed, but I felt that it was worth going there to pay my respects.

When I went there myself, I couldn't believe that hundreds of people had entered that narrow alley and suffered an accident. There wasn't a single flower in that alley. The Itaewon disaster is an accident that must be remembered. However, there is a note about the incident there, so I'll give it 2 points.
