สัปดาห์ที่แล้วI visited a couple of times a few years ago in 2020 and way back in 2008 too. You'll be taken on a boat ride on a river/sea-inlet. After some time, the boat will veer off into a narrow canal that leads into thick mangrove growth. The canopy covering, the sunlight filtering through the green, and relatively silent rumble of the boat create a fine sense of mystery and adventure. Kids will find it really exciting (Life jackets are provided). The young boy who was our boat guide was fluent in English and pointed out the various flora and fauna that were hidden to the untrained eye. We saw a black nocturnal snake curled up on the branches above our head, a a very contended lizard that looked like a mini komodo dragon and a fast monkey. Overall, it was a worthwhile adventure though I wish there was more educational value to the trip. Guides with proper training could have provide information about the sensitivity of the mangrove ecosystem to pollution and about the importance of protecting such delicate environments. We saw some old plastic bottles floating amid the mangrove roots deep inside the jungle. Pity!

2 สัปดาห์ที่แล้วWe loved the tour. Very professional. They spotted animals we haven't seen like poisonous snakes sleeping in the trees; monkeys, frogs, colourful birds. We went for the 9 a.m. tour, so it was not too hot, and it was high tide. First, you go on the big river and then into the smaller waterways. They don't do it at night because of the dangerous nocturnal animals. If you want to do the firefly sighting, you only go on the big river. At high tide you see not the roots of the trees entirely but you still have this Mangrove feeling. Our guides were very professional, they spotted all these animals and made sometimes a detour to watch them. Their life vests were fully operational, unlike those from the other tour we crossed.
