An unforgettable experience. All the staff were incredibly friendly and waited to fill the boat with more people if we wanted (the boat cost €3,050, which is divided among a maximum of 6 people, plus an additional €400 environmental fee per person). The excursion was completely self-guided; they dropped us off at three islands. In our case, we took route B+, which I highly recommend, and they gave us plenty of time to swim and relax. This is a great option if you don't want to pay for a tour from your hotel or another more expensive location. It's definitely worth going and renting the boat with other people.

Be careful when paying for tours. At first, they were going to charge us more than the signs say, and when we realized it and asked why, they told us it was for the guide (a little over 600 pesos), which isn't mandatory. The boat is incredibly noisy (so much so that if you have sound-cancelling headphones, bring them). The sites you can visit from this port are beautiful, and going early in the morning can help you avoid the crowds.

The boat ride to and from the lagoon was super loud, but otherwise beautiful! They don't allow you to bring single use plastics to the lagoon, so bring reusable water bottles.
