Unfortunately, they don't accept credit card payments, and you have to register as an eCitizen to gain entry. The problem is that there's no cell coverage, so I couldn't get in. The cost is 650 shillings, so I recommend bringing a physical credit card or, alternatively, 5 euros or 5 dollars to give to a local to pay the entrance fee for you.

The trail is nice but the entry fees and process are backwards, and the staff are no help. They try and make you pay by some sort of qr code that doesn’t work. Only managed to get in as a kind woman paid by Mpesa on my behalf. They also scam you for 1000ksh for just taking a camera in. There’s nothing about this on the signs or online. Karura and Ngong forest are better due to the hassle caused by the staff here.
