Wisata Kota Tua Jakarta

The Old Town (Kota Tua) is a captivating journey back in time! The area is brought to life with well-preserved colonial architecture, numerous interesting museums (Fatahillah Museum, Wayang Museum), and a bustling atmosphere. Cycling around while taking in the sights is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the richness of Jakarta's history!

Very large court they had a music event when I was there. We went on a guided tour to visit the old Arab village and few mosques. I was so dissapointed to see that the places and roads really lack proper maintenance and upkeep, not to mention the piled up garbage every where. The steps, streets sidewalks are hard to walk on. What a shame to see these historical places not maintained by the province or city municipality. Plus its very hard to find parking with outside construction.

Wisata Kota Tua is a great spot to enjoy Jakarta’s history, old buildings, and lively street vibes. Perfect for photos, food, and a relaxed walk

Visited at 8.30 AM. It was hot though, even if It's still morning. It's not crowded yet, but already a lot of people. Most common attraction is bicycle rent, It's colorful bicycle. There are also cosplayer, for you who wants to get a photo with their diorama.

This is a great square/plaza to meet locals and see free shows. I was at the right place at the right time when I visited in September.
