The Grand Bridge is located right next to the Boer Art District, is the first swing bridge in Taiwan and the longest river bridge in Asia. The bridge swings at 3 pm every day, the swing time is 3 minutes, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the bridge will swing once more at 7 pm. The bridge is for pedestrians and cyclists. The Grand Bridge is white, 110m long, 5-11m wide, can accommodate 550 people and bicycles at the same time, designed based on the image of dolphins and clams, with an artistic appearance. The middle part of the bridge has a viewing area, visitors can stand here to admire the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river in the port city of Kaohsiung. The Grand Bridge is located near the Dayi Boer MRT Station, the traffic is very convenient, visitors should take the train and start from the Kaohsiung Contemporary Music Center down to the Grand Bridge. The markets that open at Dai Cang with delicious food, performances, and creative souvenirs have attracted many tourists. In the morning the bridge is very beautiful, standing on the bridge you can look out to the Seaport.
