3 weeks agoTaipei North Gate is an important historical site, but unfortunately, it was under renovation during my visit, which made it hard to fully appreciate. The gate itself is impressive, and I can imagine it being much more striking once the work is complete, but with scaffolding and construction areas around, I couldn’t really enjoy it or take proper photos. Still worth a quick stop if you’re nearby, but I’d reserve a higher rating for when it’s fully restored.
