La Mer cafes and restaurants are permanently closed, there’s nothing left, not even if you’re just looking for a cup of water. But the beach is still open! It’s less crowded than other beaches in Dubai, yet still worth visiting to enjoy the sun, sand, and swimming. Many people still choose this beach because it feels calm and relaxing

One of my favourite beaches in Dubai. Blue waters, white clean sand just perfect for swimming and it’s not overcrowded. It has a beautiful views of sunset. The lifeguards will ask you to leave the beach once the sunsets, however you can walk around and stay at the promenade. Highly highly recommend this beach.

La Mer Beach is a lovely place to spend an evening in Dubai. The beach is clean, well-maintained, and has a relaxed vibe with plenty of open space to walk, sit, or enjoy the sunset. There are lots of cafes, restaurants, and beachside lounges to explore — perfect for a casual evening out. Getting there can be a bit tricky though, as public transport isn’t very frequent in this area. It’s best to take a taxi or drive if you want to avoid the hassle. Overall, it’s a great spot for a peaceful stroll, some light shopping, or just to sit back and enjoy the sea breeze.

The beach offers well-developed infrastructure, providing a pleasant environment for walking. It features free entrance, complimentary restrooms, and changing facilities. Additionally, free Wi-Fi and parking are available. The area is well-maintained, making it enjoyable to explore, with numerous cafes present; however, it is worth noting that many of these cafes are currently closed.

It's a good sized public beach, with good potential, however most of the things around are closed. Part of the beach is for the beach clubs that require entry to use (approx 300AED), but the free part near the roundabout/carpark could be more developed. They have what it seems to be an area where previously there were a lot of shops and restaurants but everything is shut down now, which is a shame. They have a few coffee stands still open next to the beach
