5 months agoBeautifully Curated Museum Showcasing Indonesia’s Rich Heritage The Indonesia Museum inside Taman Mini is truly one of the highlights of the park. The building itself is stunning — traditional Balinese-style architecture with beautiful carvings and decorations. Inside, the museum is well-organized and filled with detailed exhibits that showcase the cultural diversity of Indonesia, from traditional clothing and textiles to ceremonial objects, tools, and models of daily life. Each floor has its own theme, and the displays are informative and thoughtfully arranged. It's a great place to gain a deeper understanding of the many ethnic groups that make up Indonesia. I found the exhibits on traditional wedding customs and tribal rituals especially fascinating. Important tip: Double-check the opening hours or contact the park ahead of time before your visit — sometimes the museum is closed for maintenance or special events. If you're at Taman Mini, don’t skip this museum. It’s not just educational, but also a visually rich and immersive experience that gives a deeper appreciation for Indonesia’s unity in diversity

a year agoAmazing museum that mainly showcases Indonesian weaving, masks and traditional costumes. Some traditional costumes worn by the President for formal events are also displayed. Conveniently located near the information centre, this museum is free of charge and is a great introduction to Indonesia before you visit the other parts. Generally quiet, the displays are well maintained and informative. English informations are provided by scanning the QR code of the exhibit. The exterior is amazing, beautifully decorated and calming. You can easily spend 1 hour here so be mindful if you want to explore other parts of the park as well :)
