The best thing I can say about the museum is that it's free. There is one sculpture that I like there and then there is a bunch of dirty Dusty furniture. I guess it's worth a visit if you're in the area cuz it's free. It does have a functioning bathroom. The bathroom spray

Historic location. Very nice museum with several rooms of exhibits of period furnishings and artifacts. Nice historic paintings. Staff friendly and unobtrusive. Self tour, use your translator tool if you don’t read local language. Allow 30 to 60 minutes.

A well-preserved house where Paraguay's fight for independence started.Today, it’s a museum dispensing history of Paraguayan independence. The house once belonged to a wealthy family, consisting of 5 rooms and a large hall with a patio in the center. One can view where the desk and the oratory is located, the bedroom, the dining room, and portraits of famous heroes of Independence. Other artifacts include period documents, utensils, and original furniture from the early 1800s.

It was small place to see all. But we spent rich time there even it took less than 30 minutes. You can see Paraguayan independence history and precious exhibits. We felt their patriotism and passion. If you go to downtown, centoro, it’s worth to visit.

Cool little museum, mostly a collection of artifacts from the colonial and early post-independence era. The letters from independence leaders in the first room are a real highlight. Free. Clean bathroom.
