a month agoWe have purchased our first house in Japan and couldn’t have done it without the help from Take, Joey and our amazing agent Ryo. I can highly recommend Akiya mart the process was pretty seamless. We were so lucky to have Ryo support us through the whole sale process having an agent that was bilingual made it reassuringly easy. We weren’t in a hurry to buy we just wanted something that we thought would be right for our family and I’m so happy we have got the house that we did it’s in such a special place and can’t wait to spend more time enjoying the house spending time in the area and meeting more of our neighbours. My advice to anyone thinking about purchasing a house is to first listen to the podcasts they are very informative and I learnt a lot from listening. Second know the area you want to buy and research beforehand this is a huge help. It was a huge step but we are so happy we did it. a month agoWe have finalised our house purchase contract with AkiyaMart in Otaru! Take and Joey were fantastic and made the entire process very smooth and easy. We really enjoy their podcast, and in our opinion, their website is the best resource we've seen for Japan property. Our AkiyaMart realtor, Ryo, has been incredible throughout this journey. We've met him twice at the house all the way from his family home in the Osaka region. He has played a key role, offering us valuable advice and support. We are still working with Ryo on utilities, insurance, renovations, and obtaining our Minpaku license. Honestly, we believe we could not have achieved this without Ryo, and ultimately, without Take and Joey. A huge thank you once again to the entire AkiyaMart team. 2 months agoFirst, you find a property you like. You click it — and suddenly you’re forced to register just to see basic details. Fine. You register, give your email, and brace yourself for spam. But then, when you try to view the same property again, you get hit with a second wall: now you need to pay to view it. Seriously? First you take our data, now you want money — just to see a listing? This is not transparency, it’s a trap. No thank you.
