Easily accessible from Taipei main station, this establishment features several heated pools with clearly marked temperatures, including a refreshing cold pool. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, friendly staff, and the peaceful ambiance, often shared with local seniors who frequent the baths. It’s important to plan your visit around the operating hours and follow the guidelines regarding swimwear and entry times. Nearby, the museum adds cultural value to the visit, making Beitou Public Hotspring a perfect spot to unwind and immerse yourself in traditional Taiwanese wellness culture within the city.
The bathing pools are clean and well-maintained, with clear temperature indications in both Taiwanese and English. Visitors appreciate the relaxing experience in a peaceful environment.
Staff members are friendly and helpful, providing guidance on regulations and ensuring a pleasant first-time visit for customers.
The entrance fee is budget-friendly (NT$60) and the facility offers free amenities like toilets and cold showers, with additional services available for a reasonable cost.
Strict swimwear regulations, including the need for swim caps, and limited operating hours in 3-hour sessions may inconvenience some visitors.

2 weeks agoI came wearing a normal swim suit as requested but was denied entry. The staff could not explain why my swim suit was not sufficient. It matched the photos of their acceptable examples perfectly. I suspect I was turned away due to racism against foreigners.
