Reviewers consistently praise the ancient forest, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful gardens, making it a highly recommended place to visit in Tokyo.
Visitors enjoy a wide range of activities including exploring shrines, walking paths, tea house, lily pond, and gardens, enhancing the overall experience.
The opportunity to rent Yukata/Kimono, participate in traditional rituals, and enjoy street vendors offering Japanese sweets and modern desserts adds to the cultural experience for visitors.
The serene environment with tall trees, open spaces, and wildlife provides a calming escape from the urban hustle, attracting visitors seeking relaxation and immersion in nature.
During peak times, entering through less crowded side gates provides a more peaceful experience, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural surroundings without the usual crowds.
Despite the overall positive experience, some reviewers noted a significant waiting time of nearly an hour for receiving Goshuin seals, which could be improved for visitor satisfaction.

in the last week01/12 Visited in early January (Coming of Age Day) It was relatively leisurely. There were a lot of people wearing kimonos for Coming of Age Day. Even though it was January, the forest was lush and green. Historically, it's a difficult place for Koreans. But it's worth a visit.
