We waited for almost 3 hours at Matnog Port just to have our papers processed, and our travel coordinator seemed to be wasting a lot of time. We arrived at the port around 8 AM and only got a boat past 11 AM. The boat ride took about 30 minutes before we finally reached Subic Beach, where we brought our ingredients to be cooked. At the beach, there are cooks for hire for ₱500, excluding an additional ₱100 for the gasul and ₱30 for the banana leaves used in the budol fight. There are also small stores and eateries, but prices are quite expensive compared to buying your own ingredients and having them cooked. Waiting time for food preparation can take around 1 hour and 30 minutes, especially on weekends. The place itself is worth the trip, though it can get very hot since there aren’t many shaded areas. The sand is very fine and has a pinkish color, which makes the beach extra special. 💛

Subic Beach is the sea with water like Gatorade. Fine sand too. The place is clean, there is also cooking. This sea is so beautiful! Cottage price starts at ₱800. Access here is direct from Matnog Tourism. The tour includes the cave and Juag Lagoon.
