2 months agoMy journey with Akiyamart all began when I chanced upon their intuitive, easy to use website/ search engine. Within that website was an option to contact them directly within the app. I had no idea what the process of buying Japanese real estate was like but Take and Joey, from our first Zoom meeting effectively explained it to me and how they could help. And they did! They assisted me from start to the time I got the keys to my first property, in the area I love, in a short span of 2-3 months! For those who love Japan and are contemplating on getting Akiyamart's services in purchasing real estate there, just take that first step, explore Akiyamart search engine and subscribe if you'd like to expand your search like I did, and take that leap of faith (as Take said), do your homework and trust the process! ONE YEAR FOLLOW UP (Oct. 2025) With the renovations complete with the help of Akiyamart's/ Add Value Co. realtor Yoshi, the condo, although tiny, feels so comfy and homey! I love it! I couldnt have done it without Joey, Take and Yoshi's help! I'm still subscribed to Akiya Mart search engine which I feel is well worth it if you're on the lookout for real estate in Japan!

2 months agoJoey, Take and all that have climbed on board Akiya-Mart to help them are awesome. A couple of blokes going out of their way to help others acheieve the dream of buying a house in Japan. We joined in March and bought a beautiful home and settled in October. The boys (as we call them) made this magic happen. Hooked us up with our buyers agent who is an angel and has helped with every step and more even after our purchase. We have adopted him as our friend on the ground and look forward to many a social occasion. The process was seamless and totally transparent to the extreme. I cant recommend these boys enough. If anyone says any different they need to have a good look at themselves. It is their issue not our boys.

3 months agoOverall a great experience! Even after a little mishap with one of their contracted staff. Take and Joey were amazing to work with and they have a much better system in place compared to akiya hub !

5 months agoWe have purchased our first house in Japan and couldn’t have done it without the help from Take, Joey and our amazing agent Ryo. I can highly recommend Akiya mart the process was pretty seamless. We were so lucky to have Ryo support us through the whole sale process having an agent that was bilingual made it reassuringly easy. We weren’t in a hurry to buy we just wanted something that we thought would be right for our family and I’m so happy we have got the house that we did it’s in such a special place and can’t wait to spend more time enjoying the house spending time in the area and meeting more of our neighbours. My advice to anyone thinking about purchasing a house is to first listen to the podcasts they are very informative and I learnt a lot from listening. Second know the area you want to buy and research beforehand this is a huge help. It was a huge step but we are so happy we did it. Who knows we may be ready to buy another once we complete renovations on this one. Thanks again Take & Joey
