a month agoBastante Bar Review: The servings here are really generous, and the staff are super friendly — they even made sure we were comfortable the whole time and took our photos for us. If you want a spot with a beautiful beach view and good food, this place is perfect. You can stay at the resort or just pay the consumable fee (around ₱800), which gives you 2 hours to enjoy the area. Plus, you’re allowed to take home any leftover food. I highly recommend their sundried tomato capellini — it was the standout dish among everything we tried.

3 months agoWe spent an overnight stay here to cap our Siquijor-Negros 30th wedding anniversary celebration/adventure. We are so pleased how the Manager (Stevie) and staff made our short stay so special and memorable: - They accommodated our request for an early bag drop so we can conveniently go straight exploring Valencia (just 30 min no-traffic and scenic drive northward). - The welcome drink (calamansi slurry) was so refreshing after a 30 min drive from Siaton. - Golf cart rides to and fro the property for easy peezy mobility. - So sweet of them for the anniversary surprise that greeted us as we enter our Villa! - The homey villas are well-designed from the porch... the beddings...the working table ... to the spacious and clean bathroom. - The mindful settings of each cabins to ensure privacy without compromising overall esthetic look and feel of the entire property. - The lush trees... plants... and the grass carpets are beautifully curated and immaculately maintained. - Morning and evening walks are so special and made even more magical by the colors of the sky peeking through the canopies and the resounding symphony by the endemic birds and geckos. - The cozy ambiance and well designed set-up of Tipon restaurant and Bastante bar. - The soothing Swedish massage at their Kalma lodge. - Foods are delightfully prepared and presented to tease your palate. Special mention for the hefty buffet breakfast of course! - We regret not staying longer to experience snorkeling or even scuba that they are offering but hopefully we will be back again to complete the experience... Kudos to Salum!
