The Lazy Dog Bed & Breakfast

Family of 3 from Canada. We enjoyed our very early quite breakfast here. Vietnamese coffee was amazing. Raffy our waiter was very friendly and always smiling. So early in the morning he came to work happy. It was a great start to our day. We loved the little seating area. Cozy and comfy.

Overall: Great Value The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. The sheets and towels were clean and had a fresh smell, too. The AC unit is quite noisy and can get very cold. I guess its temperature control is defective, but I'm not entirely sure. Generally, the room is clean, but not under the bed. We found two (2) cockroaches one night. We killed them using a bug spray, which we borrowed from the staff and returned afterward. The bathroom is generally clean, but there were black molds, especially in the shower. It can be quiet, but it can also be noisy. The noise from neighboring houses and rentals can be heard because there is not much space separating the establishments. When the electricity is out, the generator can be noisy, and the fumes can be smelled if you happen to pass by. The staff were great. Kudos! And I agree, the dog is lazy.

Room: I stayed solo in the room, the bed was big and it was good for me, however some lights are not working well so the room is kind of a little dark inside which is okay for me cause I only sleep and shower during my stay. Breakfast: Breakfast was amazing and I love the Vietnamese coffee so much. Staffs: All staffs are warm and friendly, they are helpful and approachable. Internet: Internet connection in the common area is strong and is good for remote working, however the internet inside the rooms are little glitchy and slow. So it's best to work in the common area than inside the room. Common Area: Common area was comfortable during sunny days, there are a lot of mosquitos specially early mornings, common area is not good when there is a strong rain. Location: The Inn was accesible and easy to find when you use the Bulabog Access road.

It's a cozy place indeed. You can hear crickets. The service is also great and the people are warm and smiling. I also had no trouble when I checked in late they catered to me as soon as I arrived. Also, their breakfast is awesome because you can choose from their menu. Really great experience with them even though I chose this mainly because of the dog hehehe

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a The Lazy Dog Bed and Breakfast for the first time, opting for a three-night stay. Upon early arrival, on-site staff were extremely accommodating, allowing me an early check-in. The location is in Balabag, close to a beautiful private beach, D'Mall, and White Sands Beach. The aesthetics and facilities were akin to a serene oasis. The facilities were great value for cost and eco-friendly. The included breakfast was always tasty, cooked fresh with vegetarian options. The staff and night security consistently provided exceptional service, making me feel welcome. I intend to return on my next trip to beautiful Boracay!
