Tainan Sikunshen Coastline

Nice path where i run very often, in general is safe even if there’s sometimes some scooters (normally it’s forbidden but it’s taiwan 🤷🏼‍♂️), from the path you can admire the beach and some beautiful sunset . I can’t wait the worksite is finished to go until the end of the path. It’s just a pity the tip of the pier is forbidden if you don’t wear a safe jacket…it’s not convenient when you run or hike…

The coastline is beautiful and the ecology is rich. You can walk and ride a bicycle along the embankment. However, due to the bright sun in southern Taiwan, there is no shelter and there are few people from morning to afternoon, except for a few anglers and tourists. So it is more appropriate to choose dusk to watch the sunset (some scenic spots along the embankment are currently under construction)

Beautiful sunset photos remind me of the infinite beauty of sunsets, only near dusk! In March, during the Casuarina flowering season, the unique hermaphroditic flowers bloom, with yellow-brown male flowers on the drooping leaves and red female flowers on the branches. It's rare to spot a single red female flower; the rest are all yellow-brown males. At the end of Qingshui Road, across the bike path, lies a dreamy, European-style lake. At dusk, as the sun sets, the scenery resembles a fairyland, and many couples flock here for wedding photography. Today, two couples are here for their wedding shoots. The kapok flowers are blooming a fiery crimson, the golden and silver acacias are bearing fruit, and the ochre-red terminalias are changing their colors. The guardians of the land are the four wild dogs: a black gang and a white and white gang (over 40 individuals appear at most), guarding the beautiful environment.

There is a bicycle path along the coastline. It takes more than half an hour to walk one way. At the end of the path is the Gold Coast Beach, which is suitable for exercise before sunset. You can watch the sunset at the beach and then walk back under the overpass.

There are few tourists and there are weeds under the seawall. It is best to prepare a stick. The sea wind and waves are strong, so you should wear a jacket.
