Mitra’s Ranch

Get to experience having a photo on a golden horse, eat halo halo, have a zipline and slide experience here. The beauty is in the nice, simple yet sturdy house on the hilltop made of the sturdiest wood. The house's nice, wide design can make you feel the breeze overlooking the sea and islands. Entrance to the house is P50.00 per person.

Mitra’s Ranch is a nice stop in Puerto Princesa with a ₱50 entrance fee. The view of Honda Bay from the veranda is really relaxing. The house has memorabilia of the late Speaker Ramon Mitra, a well-known sabungero politician who became Speaker of the House and even ran for president in the ’90s. The place is simple, but it’s worth a visit for both the history and the scenery during the city tour.

We enjoyed our time here. Everything was quick while we were there. The only downfall is on the slide, everyone just runs to the front desk and the person serves whoever is there without having any control over those who are actually standing in line. It gets a little confusing bc people are all over the place. They need to control the flow better. We also paid to get into the area across from the restaurant thinking there was an entrance fee into the place but in reality, It was only an area to relax. It wasn’t much but it would’ve been nice to know before we paid bc we were only trying to walk to the slide.

If you’re after serene views, gentle breezes, and a slow afternoon away from crowds, Mitra’s Ranch delivers. It’s not about luxury or high-energy thrills—it’s about calm moments and open-air space. Just be prepared that some facilities might appear a bit worn and less polished than expected. You can try a few light adventures: a giant slide, skywalk with zipline, giant swing, and horseback riding. However, activities felt a bit overpriced for what they offered, implying maintenance and quality issues

A great spot for a leisurely afternoon, enjoying lunch, or simply having coffee. The place offers a scenic view overlooking the city and the sea. You can explore the house or dine there for a small entrance fee. There are also some rides available, though we couldn’t try them due to the rain during our visit.
