Miraflores Locks

The canal is the pride of our country and this display does some justice to the engineering masterpiece that the canal truly is. The video presentation with Morgan Freeman is very educational as well as uplifting about the nation as a whole. The viewing center is also very nice you can see ships passing thorough this older lock and see massive vessels up very close. For little ones there is a nice covered playground to keep them from getting too restless.

What a cool experience! It was so interesting and fun to visit this amazing and unique project! We enjoyed watching the passing through of server ships and the IMAX movie about the canal was great and very educational! We loved it!

This while experience of the Panama Canal tour was awesome from the movie to watch the ships going through the locks is just an awe moment. These locks are powered by water no electricity. You must visit. For tourist it $17us dollars for the experience.

The tourists visitors center is well done. The main gift store has good long lasting sustainable clothing that is good quality and can be worn anywhere. The 45 minute movie about the canal narrated buy Morgan Friedman is an excellent production. The history of the canal is interesting. Many people died and suffered building the canal. The visitor center is clean and well organized, it is safe. I recommended for newbies coming to Panama.
