望幽 谷

Nice hike up the hill and down the hill by the seashore overlooking the Keelung shoreline and seeing the Keelung Island nearby in a clear day. It would have been nicer if there were more handrails on both sides of some stairs. I would not recommend anyone who have weak knees or ankles or legs to climb this hiking trail.

It's an amazing place for kids and adults. The stone formations are growing from the bottom and present very bizarre figures. With a little imagination you can find in it some animals and other mystery creations. A lot of small pool in the bottom's cracks offer the wonder of the underwater life!

In my opinion, I think this is the most beautiful place in Keelung. I have been here many times and I am always amazed by the spectacular sea and mountain views. Especially, it is really breathtaking when I look at the sunset reflected on the sea in the afternoon. But I don't think the nearby transportation is very convenient. On holidays, I even have to wait twenty or thirty minutes for a bus. And the sea breeze there is quite strong, so it is recommended that people who go there bring a jacket to avoid catching a cold. All in all, I think it is indeed an attraction worth visiting.

忘憂谷 is a beautiful spot. It is a nice place for people who want to see spectacular sights of coastal. I think the most suitable time to go there is about 5 p.m. because you can see the spectacular sunset. It is the good choice to go there with friends or family on the weekend. Walking on the walking path by the coastal and blown by the breeze are such wonderful things. But if you go there, you should better ride motorcycle. Because the way to go there is very strait, and there are just few parking spaces for car there.
