3 weeks agoI personally work in a law office, so I understand the importance of professionalism. The way this situation has been handled is completely unprofessional, and it’s fortunate they don’t have to adhere to ABA standards.I initially reached out to this firm on November 12. They responded and scheduled a phone meeting with me for later that week. However, when the meeting time came, the lawyer, Christopher, was late and missed the scheduled call. He eventually called back, and I took note of it. During that conversation, he requested that I send him my personal and highly important documents. I complied, but since then, I have not heard back.Instead, a week and a half later, I received an email from him asking if I still needed assistance—completely disregarding the fact that we had already spoken and I had provided the requested documents. This lack of follow-through is extremely unprofessional. It is unacceptable for a law firm to: 1. Fail to track which clients they are currently working with. 2. Request sensitive personal documents and then fail to acknowledge or follow up with the client. 3. Take on new clients while neglecting existing ones.I want to remind everyone considering this firm for relocation assistance that this service requires clear, reliable communication—especially since most clients are likely located in another country. If they can’t maintain basic customer service or provide clear information about the services you’re paying for, you are under no obligation to hire them.Remember, you are the client. You are hiring them, not the other way around. Your money would be better spent on a law firm that values professionalism, accountability, and reliable communication.

a week agoMr. Ed Steinmetz, I did try and set up an appointment to speak to you on the third attempt, but at this point you where not interested. There is no reason to leave a negative remark when. we have never met or done business.I ask you to please remove your remark. Thank you.

a year agoDon't bother contacting them, it seems their time is a lot more valuable than yours. At 3 different occasions we agreed to have a call, at none of the agreed times Pedro could be bothered to call.

3 years agoMy proof of income was an issue getting my residency in Panama. I don’t receive social security benefits yet and my income is from a private pension. Like everyone should do before hiring an attorney I shopped around. The feedback I received from most firms was they didn’t have the experience or knowledge to handle an out of ordinary situation. POLs took on the challenge. Carmen and Pedro were great. Carmen’ s intimate knowledge of Panamanian immigration law was remarkable. She told me exactly what documentation I needed and I am now a resident of Panama. We will probably need legal assistance in the future and I wouldn’t hesitate to use POLs again.
