a week ago🟦 Had been to ICA building at Lavender area several times over the years to collect my identity card and passport. ▪︎ The building is just a few minutes walk from Lavender MRT station.✅️🟨 The collection process was very fast indeed.● Passport was collected and iris (eye) scanned within 5 mins of my arrival at ICA (Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore) building. Wow. It was so very quick.🟦 I arrived at 3.40pm to queue for a number. My appointment was set at 4pm.🟫 Seated within 5 mins, my number Dxxxx was called and I went to counter 10. My iris (pupil) was scanned and that is it. Passport collected and out I go. ✅️ So very efficient.👏👏 Kudos to our Immigration dept officers. Job well done! The officers were all very polite, efficient and professional.

3 months agoWalked in with no appointment at 11.30am on a Friday and was out by 12pm with my new passport. Super quick and efficient. Officer was polite too. I initially had my guard up cause other Google reviews were low but pleasantly impressed instead.

2 weeks agoApplied for the renewal of my passport as well as my husband's online and was informed that my husband's was ready within a week of application. I emailed and also called in to check on the status and was advised to walk in due to urgency of my situation. Person on the line was very helpful. I had decided that my photo was likely rejected as it was a selfie and the photo was mirrored. (so a mole on the left side of my face will appear on my right instead) So I emailed in and provided the corrected photo. On the next working day, I received an email to inform that my passport was ready! Made an appointment to collect my passport at ICA online and arrived earlier than my selected time slot. Was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to wait and was able to walk out with my new passport within 10mins. Am impressed that the matter was handled expediently. Super efficient! Thanks ICA!

4 months ago2024 updates to pickup my NRIC and it was smooth and quick service. Hardly no lines on Friday morning and no wait with appt.This is my first time at ICA to get biometrics for my daughter and we cannot make appointment online. We tried to email and no response and when we called , they say you can walk-in but here comes the surprises: For walk-in NRIC biometric after you completed online application, it’s a long wait for over 2 hours. The staff are friendly but the systems are messed up when they don’t allow alternative option for appt and make you wait for over 2 hours. (It was exactly 2 hours and 20 mins wait )

3 weeks agoHad a wonderful experience with the staff at the IC department at level 3. My sister and I went to get ICs done for our sons. Because our situations were a little complicated, staff Max Kwan understood our circumstances and went out of his way to help us process our applications successfully so there were no delay. Very understanding and knowledgeable. Then staff Syed who was also very friendly and always have a nice smile on his face continued the good service by asking us all the right questions and he even helped reprocessed my sister's case without any drama as some questions were inadvertently left out by the previous officer. We are so very pleased with these 2 officers' service, kind understanding, great attitude and support. Excellent staff !
