Expat in Croatia was founded in 2013 by Sara Dyson, an American living in Split. Read her bio here. It all started as a blog where Sara shared her experience with Croatian bureaucracy and the process of applying for residency in hopes that it could help others. In 2018, Expat in Croatia was registered as a company. Today we have a staff of 10 that supports content creation, research, account management, relocation assistance, consulting services and promotion.
