To obtain one for your family members, you have to provide essential documents such as a certificate of marriage, children’s birth certificate, and a copy of passports with a validity of at least 18 months.A dependent visa or family reunion visa in Indonesia is a document that allows foreigners to bring their family while settling down in the country. Specifically, a dependent visa allows work permit or KITAS holders to bring their spouse and children under 18 years old. Technically, a dependent visa is sponsored by the same company that sponsored the foreigner’s work permit or KITAS. However, it is still important to note that foreign citizens who hold Indonesian dependent visas cannot work or earn income from Indonesian companies. Before a foreigners’ family members can apply for an Indonesian dependent visa, they must obtain a limited stay visa (VITAS) to enter the country. Investor KITAS
If you are a foreign investor who plans to hire foreign experts to support your investment, you must consider securing investor KITAS Indonesia. After your business is fully ready, the annual work permit fee for foreign investors with an Indonesian Investor KITAS is IDR 60 million, or about USD 4,000. There are two types of investor KITAS or investment visas in Indonesia: Index 313, which allows investors to stay in the country for one year, and Index 314, which has two years of validity. Retirement Visa
Even though a retirement visa or retirement KITAS in Indonesia allows you to stay in the country for a long period, it does not permit you to work and generate income. Thus, you must provide proof of deposit or a pension account with monthly funds of USD 3,000 or equivalent and a bank statement for the last three months. In addition to a pension fund, you need to have life and health insurance, leased a place to stay for at least 12 months, and hire a local helper or maid once you settle down. However, it is important to note that Indonesia currently only allows foreigners from 60 countries to obtain retirement visas. Indonesian KITAP
The Indonesian government only issues a KITAP to foreigners who already hold KITAS (limited stay permit) and sets strict KITAP requirements.
